Deck overview

This deck is a four-color Group Hug and Group Slug strategy that uses Yidris, Maelstrom Wielder primarily for color identity. Rather than pursuing combo finishes or cascade chains, the deck floods the entire table with resources using symmetric mana doublers like Heartbeat of Spring and Mana Flare, alongside continuous draw effects such as Howling Mine, Font of Mythos, and Forced Fruition. Once players have abundant mana and full hands, the deck turns that abundance into a lethal liability through punishment cards like Manabarbs, Overabundance, Razorkin Needlehead, and Descent into Avernus. Damage multipliers like Furnace of Rath and City on Fire quickly accelerate the clock, while Disrupt Decorum and Rite of the Raging Storm force opponents to attack each other. The deck intentionally foregoes targeted removal, counterspells, and protective shielding in favor of chaotic multiplayer acceleration.
