Commander: Tellah, Great Sage

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This Izzet spellslinger deck helmed by Tellah, Great Sage leans heavily into casting high-cost noncreature spells to generate token armies and card advantage. The commander's triggered ability creates a 1/1 Hero token on every noncreature spell, draws two cards when the spell cost four or more mana, and can explosively sacrifice itself to burn all opponents when you spend eight or more mana on a single spell. The deck supports this plan with plenty of ritual effects, mana rocks, and token synergies from Coat of Arms, Banner of Kinship, and Mister Fantastic, Reed Richards. Additional pinging from Vivi Ornitier, Firebrand Archer, and Lindblum, Industrial Regency // Mage Siege provides incremental reach. Win conditions include the commander's sacrifice blast, a massive X-spell like Comet Storm or Fireball, overrunning with pumped tokens, or grinding through repeated spell copying. The deck packs a solid interactive suite-counterspells, instant-speed creature removal, and bounce-to buy time while it builds toward a late-game finish.
