Deck overview

This deck is a Sultai graveyard-centric control list helmed by Muldrotha, the Gravetide. The strategy accelerates through low-cost mana dorks and artifacts into early self-mill engines like Chronic Flooding, Cemetery Tampering, and Ashiok, Dream Render. Once Muldrotha resolves on Turn 5, the graveyard functions as an expansive second hand, recurring utility permanents every turn. The deck establishes firm control on Turn 6 through repeatable locks such as Spore Frog for combat nullification and Plaguecrafter or Pernicious Deed for board suppression. Defensive enchantments like Propaganda and Collective Restraint deter wide boards. While lacking instant two-card infinite combos, the deck steadily grinds opponents out by Turn 9 through flying combat damage with Wonder and Summon: Titan, Syr Konrad, the Grim mill/death triggers, Massacre Wurm life loss, or a self-mill finish with Jace, Wielder of Mysteries.
