Deck overview

This deck is a aggressive Boros combat deck centered on Sephiroth, Fallen Hero and the modified mechanic. By leveraging 'Living weapon' and 'Job select' Equipment such as Flayer Husk, Mandibular Kite, and Dragoon's Lance, the deck establishes a wide board of modified creature tokens on the first three turns without spending additional mana on equip costs. Once Sephiroth, Fallen Hero hits the battlefield and attacks, his 'Jenova Cells' ability overrides the base power and toughness of every modified creature you control to 7/5, instantly turning small 0/0 and 1/1 tokens into lethal beaters. Damage multipliers like Blade Historian and Reyav, Master Smith accelerate kill windows, while Sephiroth's 'The Reunion' ability offers built-in recursion by sacrificing spare modified tokens to evade commander tax. The deck focuses entirely on overwhelming combat pressure, closing out games quickly through sequential combat steps.
