The deck of surveil by ClassyDabber

Format: Commander

Commander: Golbez, Crystal Collector

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Golbez, Crystal Collector is the deck's value engine: every artifact that enters lets him surveil 1, and once the board holds four artifacts he recurs a creature each end step, then drains opponents when he reaches eight artifacts. The deck is an artifact-combo shell disguised as a value deck. The primary plan is to fill the graveyard and assemble infinite colorless mana with Basalt Monolith plus Forensic Gadgeteer, then kill with Walking Ballista. Secondary paths use Bolas's Citadel, Mirrorworks/Ultron token copies, and Krang, Utrom Warlord to turn artifacts into an overwhelming combat finish. The commander's role is recursion and dig, not the finisher; there is no hidden commander.
