Deck overview

This mono-black Voltron deck utilizes Korlash, Heir to Blackblade as a massive, regenerating commander that scales directly with basic Swamp count. Backed by 51 lands and a dense suite of Equipment, the deck reliably deploys Korlash on Turn 4 and attacks on Turn 5 with high power and toughness. Its game plan relies on single-target commander damage eliminations while holding up mana for Korlash's built-in regeneration. An incidental infinite combo between Crackdown Construct and zero-equip artifacts like Shuko can create an arbitrarily large creature, but the deck lacks tutors to find it reliably. The deck suffers from a lack of card draw engines, slow multi-turn combat clocks against three opponents, and limited instant-speed removal.
