Deck overview

This deck is a high-velocity Rakdos combo and damage-redirection engine commanded by Smaug the Impenetrable. Smaug provides an indestructible 8/7 flying, hasty body that converts any noncombat damage dealt to it directly into Treasure tokens. The strategy accelerates through a dense suite of fast mana artifacts and rituals to deploy Smaug or redundant indestructible redirection creatures like Brash Taunter and Stuffy Doll ahead of curve. Once assembled, the deck casts high-potency self-harm spells such as Cut Propulsion, Blasphemous Act, or Chain Reaction to deal massive damage to its own indestructible creatures. This instantly creates 13 to 16+ Treasures while triggering damage reflection from Pain for All, Arcbond, or Marionette Apprentice. The resulting mana flood fuels game-ending X-spells like Exsanguinate or enables the infinite damage loop between Blazing Sunsteel and Brash Taunter, eliminating the entire table in a single explosive turn.
