Deck overview

This Golgari deck leverages Chatterfang, Squirrel General as a token multiplier, creature removal engine, and combo outlet in the command zone. By pairing any token generation with Chatterfang, the deck quickly swarms the board with 1/1 Squirrel tokens. These tokens fuel powerful aristocrat engines, card draw via Skullclamp and Plumb the Forbidden, and explosive mana acceleration through Jaheira, Friend of the Forest and Warren Soultrader. The primary win condition is an infinite combo with Pitiless Plunderer, which generates infinite mana, wipes opposing creatures, and drains the table using Blood Artist, Zulaport Cutthroat, or Mirkwood Bats. If the combo is disrupted, the deck pivots into an overwhelming combat swarm backed by Coat of Arms or Deep Forest Hermit. The deck's main vulnerabilities are a lack of noncreature interaction, minimal protection against sweepers, and reliance on creature-based engines.
