Commander: Rootha, Mastering the Moment

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Rootha, Mastering the Moment is a spellslinger token deck: cast an instant or sorcery each turn, then start combat with a hasty flying Elemental. The primary plan is to chain cantrips and token makers into a wide board, then use extra combat spells to convert that board into lethal damage. Rionya, Fire Dancer is the hidden commander, multiplying your best creature every combat. The main deterministic win is a Breath of Fury loop with Rootha's tokens; backup wins include Surge to Victory, Improvisation Capstone, and Sorcerer Class burn. The deck is mid-speed, interactive, and can rebuild after wipes.
