Deck overview

Saruman, the White Hand leads a spellslinger and token-aggro deck that rapidly builds a lethal Orc Army. Every noncreature spell you cast amasses Orcs equal to its mana value, transforming utility spells, card draw, and removal into tall board presence while granting built-in ward protection. The primary win condition focuses on creating an enormous Army token, granting it evasion through lands like The Black Gate or Rogue's Passage, and finishing opponents with explosive damage multipliers such as Isengard Unleashed and Assault on Osgiliath. Secondary paths leverage consistent burn triggers from Fiery Inscription, Guttersnipe, and The Great Goblin to whittle down life totals as you sling spells.
