Deck overview

This mono-green stompy deck uses Kona, Rescue Beastie as a high-velocity cheat engine to deploy game-ending permanents ahead of curve. The primary game plan curves a 1-mana ramp dork or tap enabler into a Turn 3 Kona. By tapping Kona using cards like Springleaf Drum, Jaspera Sentinel, or Exploration Broodship, the deck triggers Survival at the start of the second main phase to place massive threats directly onto the battlefield. Cheating behemoths like Vorinclex, Voice of Hunger, Void Winnower, or Ghalta, Stampede Tyrant on Turn 3 cripples opposing development while building an overwhelming board. The deck protects its engine using efficient 1-mana defensive spells like Veil of Summer and Tamiyo's Safekeeping. Over the subsequent two turns, additional free drops and massive overrun effects from Craterhoof Behemoth and Zopandrel, Hunger Dominus close out the table through decisive combat damage.
