Deck overview

This is a Temur spellslinger deck built around Kalamax, the Stormsire. The plan is to land the commander, tap it (via combat or utility lands), and cast instants so Kalamax copies the first one each turn while packing on +1/+1 counters. The 99 is dense with cantrips, copy multipliers, and magecraft payoffs that turn every instant into card advantage, treasures, and a growing threat. Primary wins come from pointing copied burn (Soul's Fire, Comet Storm, Electrodominance) at the table once Kalamax is enormous, or from interlocking value engines like Niv-Mizzet, Parun, Archmage Emeritus, and Storm-Kiln Artist that convert a flurry of copies into lethal damage or infinite loops. Backup paths include Purphoros, God of the Forge drains off token makers and Prismari, the Inspiration storm turns. The deck plays reactive and explosive, holding instant-speed answers while setting up a single decisive copy turn.
