Commander: Hazel of the Rootbloom

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is a Golgari Squirrel-token value deck helmed by Hazel of the Rootbloom, a mana dork that also copies a token each end step (doubling Squirrels). The strategy revolves around generating a dense board of Squirrel and Food tokens through cards like Chatterfang, Squirrel General, Squirrel Nest, and Peregrin Took, then converting that mass into victory via drain effects (Mirkwood Bats, Zulaport Cutthroat), combat anthems (Beastmaster Ascension, Chronicle of Victory), or a single massive Second Harvest / For the Common Good. The commander provides both ramp and exponential token growth, but the deck can function without her. Wins are incremental rather than explosive, often arriving around turn eight or nine.
