Chromium | EDH Flash Control | Extra Turns (duplicated from CovertGoBlue) by user8604839

Format: Commander

Commander: Chromium, the Mutable

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Chromium, the Mutable pilots a draw-go Esper flash-control deck. The early game is about holding up mana and deploying flash creatures and instant-speed answers, turning opponent plays into card advantage through Wavebreak Hippocamp, Nymris, and Slitherwisp. Chromium is the primary finisher: an uncounterable 7/7 flying dragon that can dodge removal and blockers by turning into a 1/1 unblockable hexproof creature. Secondary paths are flyer beatdown, Smothering Tithe and Rhystic Study advantage, and a late Hullbreaker Horror plus Sol Ring soft lock. There is no true hidden commander; the closest is Nymris, whose flash trigger mirrors the deck's entire plan.
