Deck overview

This deck is a mono-green Voltron and fight control strategy built around Legolas, Master Archer. The game plan leverages cheap 1-mana and 2-mana targeting spells to trigger Legolas's dual abilities simultaneously: growing his power with +1/+1 counters whenever he is targeted, and dealing direct damage equal to his power to opposing creatures whenever an opponent's creature is targeted. Fight and bite spells that target both Legolas and an enemy creature trigger both abilities at once, doubling the removal output while rapidly expanding Legolas's stats. The deck establishes early ramp on Turns 1 and 2, deploys Legolas on Turn 3, and utilizes counter doublers and power buffs to turn him into a lethal combat threat by Turn 6. While the deck boasts efficient creature removal and direct-protection spells, it relies entirely on natural draws without tutors and requires multiple attack steps to eliminate all three opponents.
