Deck overview

This deck is a focused Mardu Vampire tribal and aristocrats strategy commanded by Edgar Markov. It leverages Edgar's Eminence ability to generate a free 1/1 Vampire token whenever any Vampire spell is cast, creating overwhelming board presence from the command zone without requiring mana or deployment. The deck curves aggressively with low-mana Vampires, converting raw creature quantity into lethal damage via lords like Stromkirk Captain, Bloodline Keeper, and explosive anthems like Shared Animosity. Aristocrat payoffs such as Blood Artist, Cruel Celebrant, and The Meathook Massacre punish opponents for attempting board wipes, draining life totals directly. For alternative routes to victory, the deck includes a devastating Armageddon to seal games once ahead on board, as well as an infinite life-drain combo between Vito, Thorn of the Dusk Rose and Exquisite Blood. The result is a resilient, aggressive deck that applies relentless pressure from early turns.
