Deck overview

This deck is a synergistic Boros artifact aristocrats and burn strategy commanded by Ragost, Deft Gastronaut. The game plan revolves around generating high volumes of artifact tokens—such as Foods, Clues, Treasures, Servos, and Thopters—and leveraging Ragost's static ability to treat all artifacts as Foods. By sacrificing these artifacts to Ragost or dedicated sac outlets, the deck triggers wide-reaching damage engines while gaining life to repeatedly untap the commander. Redundant burn payoffs such as Reckless Fireweaver, Ingenious Artillerist, and Mechanized Warfare scale incoming artifact counts into lethal table-wide burn. Efficient mana acceleration and artifact recursion provide consistency, while asymmetric sweepers like Slaughter the Strong and Tragic Arrogance keep opposing creature boards in check without dismantling the deck's low-power engine pieces.
