Necron DyNASTIES by user8131148

Format: Commander

Commander: Imotekh the Stormlord

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Imotekh the Stormlord leads a mono-black artifact-combo deck that turns the graveyard into a token factory. The primary plan is to fill the graveyard with artifact creatures, then repeatedly recur and sacrifice them so Imotekh creates Necron Warrior tokens, which fuel mana engines like Ashnod's Altar, Phyrexian Altar, and Krark-Clan Ironworks. Secondary paths include big mana into Bolas's Citadel, reanimation of Wurmcoil Engine or Portal to Phyrexia, and drain effects from Disciple of the Vault, Marionette Apprentice, and Psychomancer. The deck is built around Imotekh's first ability; the combat buff is incidental. It is a bracket-3 combo deck that wins through loops, not combat.
