Zedruu by Mercilesssmurf

Format: Commander

Commander: Zedruu the Greathearted

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Zedruu the Greathearted leads a donation and control deck that gives permanents to opponents to draw cards and gain life. The primary plan is to build a high gift count with Akroan Horse, Pendant of Prosperity, Bazaar Trader, and similar cards, then convert that engine into one of several alternate wins: Body of Knowledge plus Niv-Mizzet with Laboratory Maniac, Triskaidekaphile, or Felidar Sovereign. Theft and exchange effects like Agent of Treachery and Puca's Mischief provide disruption. Zedruu is the deck's engine and card-draw rate; without her the deck still functions but slows significantly.
