Deck overview

This Selesnya deck blends +1/+1 counter synergies, token swarms, and creature-type manipulation. The commander Ayula, Queen Among Bears provides low-cost board presence and repeatable fight removal or stat buffs. The inclusion of Kudo, King Among Bears turns all entering creatures into Bears, supercharging Ayula into a continuous removal and growth engine. Accelerated by dense 1–2 CMC ramp and sustained by card engines like Beast Whisperer and The Great Henge, the deck builds an overwhelming board presence. It pressures the table through high-impact finishers including Craterhoof Behemoth, Moonshaker Cavalry, and Akroma's Will, while locking down opposing creatures with the Kudo, King Among Bears and Elesh Norn, Grand Cenobite synergy. Robust protection from Grand Abolisher, Heroic Intervention, and Flare of Fortitude ensures the board survives to close out games across combat.
