Format: Commander

Commander: Azula, Cunning Usurper

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Azula, Cunning Usurper is a blue-black theft-control commander. Her enter-the-battlefield trigger exiles an opponent's creature and a graveyard card, then lets you cast those exiled cards as though they had flash during your turn. Her attack trigger adds red mana to help pay for them. The deck maximizes this engine with flicker effects, pairs it with other steal threats (Agent of Treachery, Sower of Temptation, Kitsune, Volatile Stormdrake), and slips in discard effects like Grief and Dusk Mangler to strip hands and fuel graveyard/exile synergy. There is no true infinite combo; the primary win is accumulating stolen permanents and grinding out combat damage.
