Mardu Angels & Demons & Dragons Oh My by mrgrumpygathers

Bracket: 3

DeckCheck Threat Index: 33

Deck overview

This Kaalia of the Vast deck operates as a high-threat combat cheat engine designed to drop massive Angels, Demons, and Dragons directly onto the battlefield tapped and attacking. By bypassing high mana costs, the deck establishes an aggressive clock as early as Turn 4. Key synergies such as Master of Cruelties provide sudden single-player eliminations, while damage multipliers like Gisela, Blade of Goldnight and Archfiend of Despair quickly burn through the remaining table. The list backs up its commander with a dense suite of protective equipment and defensive instants, including Lightning Greaves, Swiftfoot Boots, Mithril Coat, and Flawless Maneuver. If Kaalia is answered, the deck retains a secondary infinite combat combo with Helm of the Host and Aurelia, the Warleader, as well as hardcast midrange air power. Its main vulnerabilities stem from heavy commander reliance, hand depletion, and vulnerability to instant-speed spot removal.
