Deck overview

This deck is an Atraxa, Praetors' Voice control strategy that weaponizes stun counters, tap effects, and stax pieces to lock down opposing boards before winning through combat. During the opening turns, the deck deploys green land ramp and mana rocks to fix its four-color mana base and cast Atraxa on curve. Once assembled, Atraxa proliferates stun counters each end step, preventing opposing creatures from untapping. Supporting cards like Frozen Aether, Imposing Sovereign, and Fear of Sleep Paralysis compound this lockdown by forcing permanents to enter tapped and making stun counters permanent. With opposing defenses disabled, the deck uses large threats like Omega, Heartless Evolution, Atraxa, and The Watcher in the Water to close out the game. Finishers like Mjölnir, Storm Hammer and Triumph of the Hordes convert the tapped opposing boards into rapid eliminations.
