Commander: Smaug, Wicked Worm

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Smaug, Wicked Worm commands a Rakdos treasure-sacrifice deck that converts artifact generation into massive card velocity and life drain. The primary plan leverages treasure generators like Goldspan Dragon, Xorn, and Big Score alongside aristocrat payoffs like Mirkwood Bats, Marionette Apprentice, and Disciple of the Vault to burn out the entire table. Smaug acts as a draw engine whenever you spend treasure mana. Secondary win paths include combat alpha strikes via Depthshaker Titan animating your hoard and an infinite sacrifice engine pairing Mayhem Devil with Smaug the Impenetrable and a drain payoff.
