El Capitan by tristanito

Format: Commander

Commander: Captain America, Team Leader

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This Jeskai Hero-tribal deck is built to cast Captain America, Team Leader on curve and turn every Hero that enters into a hasty, vigilant attacker with a +1/+1 counter on both itself and the commander. The primary line is a wide modified-creature beatdown: chain Heroes with Ant-Man's Treasures and Arana's card advantage, then finish with Avengers Assemble!, Door of Destinies, War Machine double strike, or Champions from Beyond's eight-attacker +4/+4 bonus. Captain America, Wings of Freedom acts as a hidden commander by converting the commander's toughness into a team-wide buff. A secondary plan equips Hulkbuster Armor to the counter-accumulating commander for 21 damage. The deck is not a combo list; it wins by overwhelming combat and incremental card draw.
