Deck overview

This deck is a four-color token polymorph strategy helmed by Jace, Multiverse Architect. The primary game plan focuses on deploying inexpensive token generators such as Dreadhorde Invasion, Skrelv's Hive, and Staff of the Storyteller during the early turns. On Turn 4, the commander enters the battlefield and immediately uses his −3 ability to exile a token and cheat a massive threat from the library onto the battlefield. The creature suite features format-warping bombs including Archon of Cruelty, Serra's Emissary, Archfiend of Despair, and Darksteel Colossus. The deck supports this plan with an extensive suite of 2-CMC mana rocks, comprehensive creature and nonland removal spells, and versatile mass sweepers like Sunfall. While lacking stack interaction and deterministic tutoring, the deck generates high resource disparity and closes games quickly through overwhelming combat damage boosted by Moonshaker Cavalry and follow-up polymorph spells.
