Dwarves and Dragons by user3056715

Format: Commander

Commander: Thorin Oakenshield

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Thorin Oakenshield leads a Boros dwarf-equipment deck that blends cheap legendary Dwarves, Storied synergies, and a dense equipment package. The primary plan is to attach low-cost or auto-equipping Equipment to Thorin, turn on Storied for ward {1}, and close with commander damage. Secondary paths use Dwarf tokens and treasure generation to go wide, with Magda tutoring out Dragon threats such as Lathliss, Hellkite Tyrant, or Smaug. Halvar and Dain Ironfoot provide double strike to multiply combat damage. The commander is both an early ward engine and a reliable equipment carrier, but the deck has enough other legendary creatures and equipping tools to keep fighting if Thorin is unavailable.
