Deck overview

This Abzan deck is led by Betor, Ancestor's Voice, turning life total fluctuations into board dominance. It accelerates through 1-2 CMC ramp to cast Betor by Turn 4. The deck uses life loss from shocklands, painlands, and cards like Black Market Connections or Sylvan Library to trigger Betor's end-step reanimation, while lifegain from Soul Sisters and lifelink attacks places +1/+1 counters on key creatures. Threat onset occurs around Turn 6, leveraging giant aerial threats alongside drain engines like Vito, Thorn of the Dusk Rose, Enduring Tenacity, and Sanguine Bond. It also features an infinite drain loop between Bloodthirsty Conqueror and Sanguine Bond, which immediately eliminates the table once triggered. Resilient recursion and high life buffers ensure stability across longer multiplayer games.
