Format: Commander

Commander: Sheoldred, the Apocalypse

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This mono-black group slug deck transforms forced card draw into lethal burn using Sheoldred, the Apocalypse as both a damage engine and a life-gain buffer. By deploying symmetrical draw artifacts like Font of Mythos and Howling Mine alongside hand-cycling effects like Teferi's Puzzle Box, the deck taxes every card drawn across the table. Heavy mana accelerators like Cabal Coffers and Crypt Ghast power out game-ending bursts like Peer into the Abyss or continuous draw engines like Greed and Necrodominance. Redundant punishers, targeted creature removal, and lifegain resilience sustain the pilot while opponents bleed out from their own card advantage.
