Deck overview

King of the Oathbreakers leads an Orzhov Spirit tribal deck focused on creating swarms of elusive flying tokens, draining opponents, and turning targeted removal into board presence. Your primary path to victory involves establishing a wide battlefield of evasive Spirits using token producers like Lingering Souls and Thalisse, Reverent Medium, then buffing them with anthems such as Radiant Destiny or Barrensteppe Siege to overwhelm opponents in combat. Secondary win lines leverage aristocrat drain engines like Corpse Knight, Elas il-Kor, and Bastion of Remembrance alongside a late-game Debt to the Deathless. The commander protects your Spirits by phasing them out whenever they are targeted, creating replacement tokens upon return.
