Commander: Lazav, Wearer of Faces

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

Lazav, Wearer of Faces leads a Dimir Clue-midrange deck that grinds value and steals wins. Lazav attacks to exile the best creature from any graveyard and makes a Clue, then becomes that creature when you sacrifice the Clue. The primary plan is to stock graveyards, generate extra Clues, and swing with Lazav as a copied finisher like Ancient Brass Dragon or Lord of the Void. Secondary paths are poison from Persuasive Interrogators, mill from Consuming Aberration, Fleeting Memories, Ruin Crab and Singularity Rupture, and hard-cast dragons. Eloise, Nephalia Sleuth and Persuasive Interrogators act as hidden commanders for the Clue engine.
