Format: Commander

Commander: Monk Gyatso

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This mono-white deck is built around Monk Gyatso's airbend ability, turning every targeting effect on your own creatures into a repeatable exile-and-recast-for-{2} loop. The commander effectively acts as a cheap, repeatable flicker engine, re-triggering ETBs from a dense creature suite. The deck leans on zero-cost equipment like Shuko and Lightning Greaves plus the en-Kor redirectors to trigger the commander at will. The primary finish is a mass-flicker turn with Another Round that repeatedly triggers Altar of the Brood to mill the table or Glaring Fleshraker to drain life. A secondary plan uses Avatar's Wrath and God-Pharaoh's Statue to lock opponents out of the game while the small creature board beats down. Cost reducers and Smothering Tithe keep the engine fed.
