Nethroi Current by Zedd69

Format: Commander

Commander: Nethroi, Apex of Death

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Nethroi, Apex of Death is the primary reanimation engine of an Abzan graveyard-combo deck. The plan is to fill the yard (Hermit Druid, Stitcher's Supplier, Grisly Salvage, Buried Alive), then mutate Nethroi to return Karmic Guide, Reveillark, Blood Artist, and a sacrifice outlet with total power 10 or less. A Guide/Reveillark loop with Viscera Seer drains the table through Blood Artist, Zulaport Cutthroat, Cruel Celebrant, and Dina. Protean Hulk, Living Death, and Craterhoof Behemoth provide interchangeable fallbacks. No true hidden commander exists; the deck is built around Nethroi's mutate trigger, with Protean Hulk as the combo linchpin. Reanimation spells and strong tutors make the lines redundant.
