serpent society by heppers

Format: Commander

Commander: The Serpent Society

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

The deck is a Golgari aristocrats value pile that uses creature death and sacrifice to drain all opponents at once. The Serpent Society is an optional grind piece: its deathtouch-death trigger strips opponents' non-token creatures, and its Ward-poison counters tax interaction, but the main engine is token production plus Zulaport Cutthroat, Blood Artist, and Dina, Soul Steeper. Secondary paths include Culling Ritual/Pest Infestation burst and Dina, Essence Brewer's life-gain pump. No hidden commander; the plan is raw, incremental attrition. Because it has no infinite combo, games are won by converting every token and repeated nontoken death into 40 total life loss.
