Deck overview

This deck is an optimized Izzet Spellslinger Combo-Control build helmed by Niv-Mizzet, Parun. Its primary game plan is to ramp into its uncounterable commander, establish card advantage, and assemble a two-card infinite combo using an aura like Curiosity or Ophidian Eye. Once enchanted, any card draw triggers a damage-and-draw chain that draws the entire library while dealing lethal damage to all opponents. Supported by elite free interaction such as Fierce Guardianship, Deflecting Swat, and Force of Will, the deck protects its combo window effortlessly. Backup plans include alternate pingers like Niv-Mizzet, the Firemind, storm lines with Storm-Kiln Artist and Veyran, Voice of Duality, and an alternate win condition via Laboratory Maniac. Dense card filtering, wheels, and passive value engines ensure high consistency across turns.
