Deck overview

This deck is an Esper Equipment Voltron and Assassin combat tempo deck helmed by Ratonhnhaké꞉ton. The commander enters with inherent hexproof and unblockability until it deals damage, guaranteeing a safe early combat connection that generates an Assassin token and reanimates an Equipment from the graveyard directly attached to it. The deck uses equip-cost reducers such as Puresteel Paladin, Forge Anew, and Ardenn, Intrepid Archaeologist to cheat massive weapons like Colossus Hammer, Excalibur, Sword of Eden, and Kaldra Compleat into play without paying burdensome equip costs. Secondary beaters like Arna Kennerüd, Skycaptain and Unstoppable Slasher apply heavy life-total pressure, while Ramses, Assassin Lord threatens an immediate table victory once any single opponent falls to an Assassin attack. High-efficiency spot removal, counterspells, and asymmetric bounce via Desynchronization protect the board while clearing opposing defenses.
