Deck overview

This is a mono-black Rat-tribal swarm deck helmed by Marrow-Gnawer, whose first ability gives all Rats fear (making them nearly unblockable in most pods) and whose activation turns one Rat sacrifice into an exponential token explosion. The core plan is to accelerate a critical mass of Rat bodies-the deck runs 20+ Rat Colony plus numerous other utility rats-then deploy force multipliers such as Ashcoat of the Shadow Swarm for game-ending combat damage and Thrumming Stone to chain additional Rat Colony from the library. Secondary token generators (Rat King, Pale Piper and Rat King, Verminister) provide steady redundancy. The deck's primary win condition is unblockable combat from a board of 20+ rats, often finished in a single turn with the massively pumped Ashcoat. Infinite combos are not present; the deck relies wholly on its creature-based inevitability and high card-count density.
