Deck overview

This Nekusar, the Mindrazer deck executes a high-velocity Grixis wheel and forced-draw burn strategy. The primary plan accelerates mana using dense fast artifacts, establishes a draw-punishing permanent such as Nekusar, Sheoldred, the Apocalypse, or Underworld Dreams, and chains symmetrical wheel spells like Wheel of Fortune, Windfall, and Dark Deal to shred opposing life totals and disrupt hands. Synergistic engines like Waste Not and Bone Miser convert opposing discards into bursts of black mana and extra card draw, fueling multiple wheels in a single turn. Creature-based wheel attackers, enabled by graveyard Incarnations for evasion and haste, provide alternate discard triggers. Top-tier black tutors and blue cantrips ensure rapid access to core pieces, while free interaction such as Fierce Guardianship, Deflecting Swat, and Force of Will protects the commander and key sorceries during decisive turns.
