Deck overview

This mono-red list centers on Kratos, God of War to generate immediate combat velocity and punish passive board states. Kratos grants haste to the entire table and possesses double strike, allowing him to attack the turn he arrives. Backed by damage multipliers like Fiery Emancipation, Solphim, Mayhem Dominus, and Fiendish Duo, Kratos threatens lethal commander damage in single combat steps. The deck incorporates a group slug subtheme with Angel's Trumpet and Manabarbs, dealing continuous direct damage to opponents who hold back blockers or tap lands. Mana velocity relies on temporary red rituals and combat-triggered Treasures rather than permanent artifacts. Because the list lacks reliable card draw engines and unconditional tutors, it depends heavily on opening hand quality and top-decked redundancy. It presents an aggressive, high-tempo clock that forces opponents to interact immediately or suffer rapid elimination.
