Bracket: 4

Deck overview

Wilhelt, the Rotcleaver is the engine of a blue-black zombie aristocrat deck. The primary plan is to generate decayed zombies with Wilhelt, sacrifice them for value, and convert every death into life loss and cards using Vengeful Dead, Diregraf Captain, Bastion of Remembrance, and Undead Augur. Secondary paths are combo finishes with Rooftop Storm + Gravecrawler + Carrion Feeder/Ashnod's Altar + any drain payoff, and a Poppet Factory transformation that creates endless non-decayed Zombie tokens. The Scarab God and Gisa and Geralf act as hidden value engines, while Rooftop Storm allows free zombie casting. The deck is resilient and can rebuild from part of an engine, but struggles to answer resolved artifact hate.
