Commander: Yidris, Maelstrom Wielder

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Yidris, Maelstrom Wielder is the primary engine of a cascade-storm deck: the goal is to ramp into Yidris, connect in combat, then cast high-mana-value spells from hand so every spell triggers cascade. Secondary paths are a value beatdown plan led by Maelstrom Wanderer and Abaddon, and an infinite-mana storm finish via Hullbreaker Horror + Sol Ring or Bigger on the Inside + Pili-Pala. The deck also uses Faldorn and Averna to turn cascade/exile into card advantage. A hidden/secondary commander is Maelstrom Wanderer, which provides cascade, cascade, and haste on its own. The deck is mid-speed: it wins by chaining cascade into big hasty creatures or by storming out once enough mana and pieces assemble.
