Deck overview

Cyclonus, the Saboteur commands a Dimir control shell that turns combat connections into compounding beginning-phase triggers. By boosting Cyclonus's power to 5 or equipping evasion, the deck reliably connives and converts him into his 5/5 Vehicle form. When he connects as a Vehicle, he converts back and grants an extra beginning phase that untaps all permanents, draws an additional card, and triggers upkeep effects. This untap effect allows the deck to deploy threats in its first main phase while holding open full mana for counterspells and removal during opposing turns. The win condition combines unblockable commander damage with punishing upkeep attrition cards such as Court of Ambition, Twilight Prophet, and Protection Racket to strip opposing hands and drain life totals. Supported by dense 2-CMC ramp, resilient protection equipment, and backup engines like Sphinx of the Second Sun, the deck steadily grinds opponents out of the game.
