Deck overview

This Sultai deck pairs Tatsunari, Toad Rider with a hybrid Enchantress and Mutate strategy. Early turns focus on establishing mana fixing and deploying Tatsunari on Turn 3. Casting cheap enchantments spawns Keimi, a legendary Frog token that drains each opponent for 1 life and gains 1 life on every enchantment cast. Because Keimi is a non-Human creature, mutate spells like Insatiable Hemophage, Auspicious Starrix, and Chittering Harvester can mutate directly onto it. Placing the mutate card on top changes the permanent's name, allowing Tatsunari to spawn a second Keimi on subsequent enchantment casts while retaining all accumulated mutate and drain abilities. Card advantage is maintained through enchantresses like Eidolon of Blossoms and upkeep bounce engines like Riptide Chimera. Evasion from Tatsunari and Aqueous Form pushes combat damage alongside relentless drain, closing out games by Turn 8.
