Deck overview

This deck is a five-color artifact midrange and combo strategy commanded by Karn, Gilded Guardian. The deck leverages dense artifact ramp, cost reducers, and specialized tutors to assemble an infinite colorless mana combo between Basalt Monolith and Forsaken Monument. Once infinite mana is generated, the deck channels its resources into Walking Ballista to ping every opponent for lethal damage in a single turn. Backing up this primary combo is a resilient token-generation and value engine powered by cards like Sai, Master Thopterist, Efficient Construction, Doctor Doom, and Lux Artillery, which can pivot into wide aerial combat and direct burn if combo pieces are disrupted. While the deck boasts strong internal synergy, card advantage engines, and recovery tools like Emry, Lurker of the Loch, it runs light on instant-speed interaction and proactive stax pieces, focusing primarily on its own operational velocity.
