Deck overview

This Temur deck is commanded by the partner pairing of Pako, Arcane Retriever and Haldan, Avid Arcanist. The game plan revolves around accelerating mana in the early turns to cast Pako on Turn 4. Thanks to native haste, Pako attacks immediately, exiling noncreature spells and lands from all four libraries while accumulating +1/+1 counters. Haldan subsequently converts this exiled pool into massive card advantage, allowing you to cast opponents' spells and hit every land drop. The deck protects its primary attacker through an assortment of boots, counterspells, redirection magic, and phase-out effects while granting evasion via enchantments and lands. It finishes games by systematically eliminating opponents with commander combat damage, bolstered by high-impact theft spells and standalone threats like Hullbreaker Horror and Etali, Primal Storm.
