Deck overview

This Captain Sisay deck is a toolbox and creature-stax strategy that leverages legendary permanents to control the board and win through combat. Fast mana dorks accelerate Captain Sisay onto the battlefield by Turn 3. Once active on Turn 4, Sisay searches for silver-bullet answers, mana multipliers, and asymmetric lock pieces. The deck's primary oppressive state combines Kudo, King Among Bears with Elesh Norn, Grand Cenobite to permanently wipe all opposing creatures while boosting your own. Supplementary stax pieces like Gaddock Teeg, Linvala, Keeper of Silence, and Vorinclex, Voice of Hunger restrict opposing spellcasting, activations, and mana development. The deck finishes games around Turn 7 by attacking with buffed legendary creatures and Eldrazi titans. It features excellent card selection and strong proactive denial, but remains reliant on creature permanents surviving on board.
