Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is a five-color Dragon tribal stompy list helmed by The Ur-Dragon. Eminence discounts every Dragon from the command zone, so the deck never waits on its commander to start deploying threats. The plan is to ramp, land cost-reducers like Urza's Incubator and Morophon, the Boundless, then convert that mana into a flying army. Once Dragons are attacking, The Ur-Dragon's on-field trigger draws a pile of cards and cheats a permanent in, turning each combat into a cascade. Primary wins are overwhelming combat: infinite extra-combat loops with Savage Ventmaw plus Aggravated Assault (or Hellkite Charger / Old Gnawbone treasure loops), double-strike turns from Atarka, World Render, and token floods from Utvara Hellkite, Lathliss, Dragon Queen, and Miirym, Sentinel Wyrm. Secondary paths include ETB burn from Terror of the Peaks, Scourge of Valkas, and Dragon Tempest, plus the five-color upkeep win on Call the Spirit Dragons. Hellkite Courser is the shortcut around the 9-mana commander tax.
