Deck overview

This deck is a Temur Dragon tribal midrange strategy helmed by Miirym, Sentinel Wyrm. The primary game plan revolves around ramping through Turns 1 to 3 using dedicated Dragon cost reducers and land ramp, casting Miirym on Turn 5, and rapidly multiplying high-impact flying threats starting on Turn 6. With copy doubling from Miirym and support from cards like Panharmonicon and Doubling Season, every subsequent Dragon drop delivers overwhelming board presence. Finishers like Atarka, World Render and Thrakkus the Butcher grant double strike or double power to the entire fleet, enabling lethal combat swings on Turn 7. The deck features strong redundancy among big flyers and steady card advantage through engines like Garruk's Uprising, though it relies primarily on combat damage and possesses minimal proactive stax.
