Deck overview

This Simic deck is a creature-copying value engine built around Volo, Guide to Monsters, leveraging a diverse array of creature types to trigger his copy ability repeatedly. The primary game plan is to ramp into Volo, then chain creature spells with unique types to generate double the ETB triggers, combat bodies, and card draw. The deck wins through overwhelming combat damage - using finishers like End-Raze Forerunners for trample, God-Eternal Rhonas for power doubling, and Hornet Queen for flying deathtouch tokens. Secondary value comes from token doublers like Second Harvest and Double Major, as well as Panharmonicon which amplifies every ETB. The deck is a midrange value engine that seeks to out-grind opponents with superior card advantage and board presence.
