Deck overview

This deck is a Temur Dragon tribal stompy strategy helmed by Ureni of the Unwritten. The primary game plan focuses on spending the first three turns deploying 1- to 3-CMC ramp and cost reducers to cast Ureni ahead of curve on Turn 5. Upon entering the battlefield, Ureni digs eight cards deep to cheat a massive flying threat directly into play, presenting an immediate must-answer board state. On Turn 6, attacking with Ureni repeats this cheat trigger, compounding combat power alongside devastating airborne damage multipliers such as Atarka, World Render and Scourge of the Throne. While the deck possesses explosive midgame combat velocity and resilient standalone threats, it lacks compact infinite combos and dedicated creature tutors, relying on draw engines and Dragon density to overwhelm opponents over two combat rotations.
